George Strait and his 60th #1 Hit!!!

Just celebrating his 61^st birthday on Saturday George Strait has hit his 60^th #1 hit with “Give It All We Got Tonight” it’s his 115^th single. Calling him King of Country fellow artists say “Happy Birthday” and “Congratulations”.  The first artist who has 60 #1 hits! He still plans on recording new music and release new albums but is soon retiring from the road after 2014. He first got to the charts in 1981. I think he is a great singer and he is one of many people that have showed me the pathway to country music. Congratulations you have done great and have made beautiful music. Your music is believable and makes so many realize what love should be about. But I have to say one of my favorites is “All my Ex’s Live in Texas” my mother and I sing that song all the time out of nowhere. You are a person who has impacted my life for music. Thank you for being so great and congratulations and I really hope there are more songs to come out of you.
